This is the best part of the Timber Jacks weekend. Here we have our team umpire Pat Leadbeater handing out the souvenir balls to each of our u12s player received. Patty was our umpire for the weekend and he was GREAT, we can’t thank Patty enough for all his help .He comes to all junior training sessions and sits in on all senior games to keep the young ones inline. He is also a accredited umpire and umpires all of Brothers Little League and SL80 games every Saturday, even on the cold miserable drizzling days this stalwart is there to lend a hand.Patty thinks he is lucky to be part of these events but in truth we are the lucky ones. Jaxx is another one of our new players this year and is picking up the game and improving every week. Hitting a small round ball with a small round bat is one of the hardest things you can do and Jaxx’s hard work is paying off. He is seeing the ball very well considering the opposition are throwing it blistering fast and he is able to put some good swings on the ball! Jaxx played some strong centre field at the start of the game and transitioned to second base seamlessly. Having players like Jaxx and Lewis who are flexible and able to play multiple positions are invaluable and makes a coaches job so much easier. He was also the loudest voice in the dugout when his team mates were batting which is a massive boost for a batter. For this effort Jaxx can grab a feed from Mr Mozzarella Lismore and tucked into a great 🍕 See MoreSee Less
